DIY: Wrap Bracelet

We're both a huge fan of accessories and especially bracelets. It's a perfect way to give a simple outfit a personal look, and what's more personal than a bracelet made by yourself? This is a tutorial on how to make a wrap bracelet. This was just the first time I made it and of course they will look better after trying it a few times. Have fun!

What you need:

* 1,5 mm leather cord
* crystal chain or brass ball chain
* waxed linen cord
* a spring clasp

Fold the leather cording in half to form a loop. You'll need this to attach the clasp at the end.

Run the tip of the waxed linen upwards along the leather cord and towards the loop. Then wrap around the base of the loop at least 5-6 times, working downwards in the opposite direction. This is the start of the bracelet and secures the linen cord.

Place the chain against the leather cord and wrap the linen around tightly. Continue wrapping until it fits you wrist.

At the end, wrap the linen cord around the leather strands 3 more times and tie a knot with all three strands.

I chose to attach a spring clasp (just attach it to the leather cords with some linen cord) but you can also add a hex nut at the end which you can put in the loop at the start of your bracelet to form a clasp.

The only thing you have to do now is trim the ends of the cord and your wrap bracelet is finished!
