Christmas cookies

Nothing is as fun as decorating your Christmas tree with some freshly homemade butter cookies. They only take about 20 minutes to make and taste really good!

Ingredients:
- 35 grams of powdered sugar
- 55 grams of butter on room temperature
- 75 grams of flour
- 1/4 egg yolk
- 1/4 tsp vanilla essence

How to make them:
Start by putting the powdered sugar and butter into a bowl and mixed it together by using a wooden spoon or your hands. Add the flour, egg yolk and vanilla essence. Again make sure all the ingredients are well mixed together.

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to a thin layer? Cut out Christmassy shapes, use a cutter if you like.

If you want to hang them in a christmas tree like I did, do not forget to make little holes in them for the ribbon.

Place them on a baking and tray and put them in a preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes at 150°C until lightly golden.

Best wishes!
Love, Lou
